Workshops

We had a little workshop the other day and was sorting out some blocks to make into tops.

Along comes Sandra with 2 more finished tops. Sandra loved the fabric in these blocks and when she saw the fabric for the outer border she jumped on it. One week later here we are!!
Then there was this  block of the month set. When her eyes lit upon this Sandra just couldn't wait she is always up to a challenge. There were 2 plastic bags. The first had 11 completed blocks and  1 set of fabric and directions.

The second had the fabric and instructions to complete the top. Here it is. Do you recognise it? Please let me know if you do.
Fantastic job Sandra.
Here we have from left to right - Denise,Robbie(back view),Mary,Jenny and Jenny.all hard at work.
Jenny and Jenny hold up a completed top. Nice work girls.
Sandra in the foreground resting on her laurels, and Janet and Robbie doing the afternoon tea dishes. My studio looks like a bomb has hit it LOL.
The girls from 2 Maldon quilt groops took a box each of blocks and the tops are beginning to arrive back at the studio.Below are some examples. I am hoping to get some photos of workshops from Debbie Mc Donald of Maldon Village Patchers to put on the blog.

thank-you ladies some beautiful examples.
