Some lovely quilts.

Hi we had another great working bee here again today.
As always show and tell was exciting. Denise brought in two quilts made from orphan blocks and fabric from her stash.
Do you recognise your Mariners Compass blocks?
All of these blocks and some in the above quilt were made by Bonnie Lynds Hamlett,Douglas City,C.A.
and donated by her daughter. How beautiful these quilts are. Thank-you
Here is a picture of the girls at work again.
Clockwise from left Denise,Kaye,Sandra, Val is hiding behind  Jenny
The girls went through all the boxes and sorted out fabric and blocks so we can see everything at a glance now.I have been told I am not be allowed to touch the boxes until next week as I muck them up LOL.

This is what happened to poor Fred last night. We got the needle out and the foot released but I think we have bent the needle bar. I tried to sew today but the noises are horrendous and the tension is horrible. Fred is in machine hospital until the mechanic comes on Thursday. Boo Hoo.

Caroline also brought back some tops. This one is very pretty.

This one is crazy bright.

See how the fourblocks in the centre swirl? Well done girls.
